The helical anchor system is an extendable foundation system and a contemporary technique of eco-mooring. Helical anchors are installed via rotation into the sea bottom using hydraulic rotary tools, without excavation needed. The use of helical anchors is a totally environmental friendly solution as their installation and removal does not disturb the natural environment, while the anchor chains practically emerge through the sand. The use of helical anchors reduces the required length of the chains, since we take full advantage of the ground resistance.
